Kfv Genuine Multipoint Gearbox – Automatic Locking

Description

KFV multipoint gearboxes are riveted onto strips and need to be drilled and then re-riveted. These gearboxes will only replace newer KFV locks as older versions have different connectors.

To lock the door

1. On closing the door, the latch and locking points are automatically engaged as the triggers on the door connect with the keeps on the frame.

2. Turn the key to deadlock the mechanism.

To unlock the door

1. Turn the key to unlock the mechanism.

2. If you have a lever, push the lever down to retract the locking points. Alternatively, a further quarter turn of the key will retract the latch to open the door.
